Shoppin fr d frst time!!

The first time he took her shopping deserves a seperate post!! So here goes...
Seher called Asmita one nite and asked if she would be able to bunk college the next day. The question intrigued and confused her at the same time...she wondered what was cookin coz she unlike the other girls in her class never bunked college to go datin with their guys...why?? Becoz her guy, was never awake (as we all know) for anythn as "momentous" like bunkin classes to happen!! So she asked him if he was alright...but all she got in reply was "of course I am...nyways am runnin late will call u soon..blah..blah..blah..."

She was so excited at the prospect of spending time with him in broad daylight after wat seemed like ages!! The urge to call someone...anyone who'd listen...and boast abt her plans for tomorro was real high but she pushed it down...she had this longstanding idea/belief/sentiment that if she spoke too much of her plans to anyone or even to herself they always flopped. So trying not to wonder wat all they could do tomorro she forced herself to sleep.

The next day morning he came and picked her from near her college and off they went. When he refused to answer or respond to any of her questions or suggestions and wen she realised that they were only gonna go on yet another long drive, she felt a kind of strange disappointment. She told herself that she shud stop even wonderin as little as she did yesterday nite!! But wait!!!!! They were takin a different route that morning...and that cheered her up a little...something was better than nuthn afterall!!!

They were headed towards the airport...she didnt wonder why...they turned into the terminal....she cut short her mind's questions...they got out and started walkin inside...now she really couldnt keep her mind down...so she asked, "Hmmm...Seher, where are v goin?" and he tell her, " Jus walk a few steps behind me and dnt talk to me. We cant afford getting caught!". Now she didnt know wat to think of their "date"!!! But she did as she was told and walked a few steps behind him without talkin to him. Then she had a brainwave (:D) and sent him an SMS askin what the hell was happening...and wat did he do??? IGNORE it and walk on..like she hadnt sent him anythn!

She was now totally pissed off and hugely confused, so she shut up and walked stiffly behind him rite thru the checking counters and out into the tarmac, where a queue was waiting to board the a flight. (I must mention here that Asmita has never been on a plane before and hence did not know wat exactly happened within an airport..as in the various checkin procedures etc etc..). Only when they too joined the queue and started moving towards d plane did she start to panic...(he was makin a habbit out of getting her scared!!) She desperately sent him another msg to which she got no reply and they were now climbing into the flight!!!

When the air hostess welcomed her sayin,"Have a pleasant flight, ma'am", she gave her a bewildered look and murmured somethin incomprehensible and rushed forward behind Seher!! Her face, she thought, must be red with embarrassment for she felt nothing other than that at the way she had stared like a lost chicken at the air hostess who had given her an assuring smile, which maybe...jus a teeny weeny bit...bordered on condescending!!! And now she caught his sleeve and demanded pretty loudly what (d hell) was happening and she jus got started all the way down into her seat!!!

He sat next to her and told her that they were on board the flight to meet the pilot, his very close frend...and she didnt buy a word of that story he was tellin her...in all their time together he had never shown much interest in letting her meet his frends or relatives...and this seemed a very wierd way to meet a frend!! But all the same she kept quiet and announcements askin the passengers to put their seat belts were being aired. She looked at him accusingly and he only smiled and looked more innocent than ever...all the more reason for her to suspect his intentions(!!!!!)

Where they were actually headed was Bangalore!!! He had for long felt bad that he wasnt giving her a normal love life...and felt bad at the way she almost wistfully described how her frends were roaming the city, doin this and that....he hadnt even taken her to a movie..and she had till date never complained abt anythng to him...she seemed to be perfectly happy to jus be with him even though it lasted only for a couple of hours locked within a transparent car! So he had sat last nite and planned the entire idea of takin her upto bangalore, where not many knew him....roaming the roads with her...takin her shopping, to all the places that they cud ve never bin to in Chennai, like a coffee pub or a mall or a theatre!!

So wen he told her abt his plan (they were in the sky now:]) all she could say was..."I love u...". They landed there in Bangalore after 45 mins and went all over the city to places so normal to others but so special to jus the two of them!!!! He bought her everythn that she even stood to simply check out!!! Took her for a movie, ate along with her in roadside chaat shops, went to Barista her favourite coffee pub...and many other shopping streets that were famous in the city..the fear of being caught or spotted was absent in both of them and it was a truly liberating exprience for both of them...a day they will never be able to forget all their lives...
